I can't find this information at Straighterline and I called them but they have not returned my call. I'm trying to find out if taking the final triggers your final grade. If so, then you would get 0 points for an assignment that was completed but not graded. My daughter wanted to take the final yesterday but waited because her last written assignment had not been graded. However, if she does not take the exam tonight, my account will be charged another $99 tomorrow. If anyone knows the answer to this, I would be very grateful!

Each exam should be independent of each other, though all are required to finish the course. I'm not 100% sure, but really believe that she'll be fine if she takes the final. I've never even heard that you've got to take them in a certain order. She already took that exam, you're waiting for the grade. Go ahead and take the final, don't wait on them. If they're slow, they're slow. There's nothing you can do about it. Do everything you can on your side, and I'm betting it will turn out for the best.

Danielle, I am going to see if we can get a FAQ added to the StraighterLine site to address this for others. To answer your question, yes you can take a final before a written assignment is graded.
