Trying to help my buddy get some math credits with ALEKS while it's still possible, and saw they have a 48hr free trial. Anyone know if you can request the courses for your ACE transcript by only doing the trial and passing in that time?

I don't know if you can get the credit, but ALEKS says that you get 3 total hours of access during the 48-hour period. So if your friend decides to try it, make sure they log in, screen shot the picture of the problem, then log out while they work on the problems during the placement test.

Credits cannot be earned during the trial; ALEKS requires users to pay before submitting requests through ACE.

That's fair, $20 is super cheap for all the credits ALEKS offers!
