Also, forgot to mention, UMUC has a prior learning credits program too. Wondering why there isn't a "Big 4" ? Seems like UMUC is only popular among those of us in the DCMDVA general area.[/QUOTE]

Because it still has a residency requirement of 30 credits. The "big 3" have zero. If there is another Regionally Accredited college that has a zero residency, I'd sure like to know about it!

Transfer yes- in fact many colleges have only a 30ish residency requirement. I meant that I hadn't found any colleges that accepted that much test credit outside of the big 3.
Thanks. Here's just a small list of 90+credit institutions:
Upper Iowa University
Regis University
Southwestern College
Andrew Jackson University
University of Washington
Evergreen State College
University of Oregon
Towson University
When time permits, I'd like to create a longer list and start a thread on that basis.

I think the Degree Info forum already has a list, it's several thousand. Again, nearly every college has a 30ish residency requirement. The "big 3" do not, that is what makes them unique (not that they accept CLEP/transfer).

Thanks. I'm not sure that it's as much as "every" college-- I've seen quite a few that only accept like 30 or 60 hours. But it's good to know there are other options out there.
