Can anyone decipher this?
#1
I got a copy online of my transcripts from a college i went to about a million years ago. Looking at it i can now remember what classes i took but I don't really know what the information means. Can someone please take a look at this and tell me what exactly it means? In my head It looks like I have 16 credits. Can anyone verify that? Or even just set me strait?

TERM COURSE ID -------- TITLE -------- GRADE CREDITS

Clvl: Gpa Cr 21.0 Cr Earn 16.0 P/S Cr 0.0 Grpts 26.7 GPA 1.27

Also, I dont know where the Academic probation came from, but again this was about 18 years ago....

Thanks in advance.

I think you're right. You have 16 total credits. Total credits that make up your GPA are 21 (looks like you may have dropped Keyboard and Spanish). Credits earned are 16, quality points from credits are 26.7, and then cumulative GPA.

Thanks for giving it a fresh set of eyes. Better than I expected really, its 16 more credits than I had when I woke up. If only my other school would give me an unofficial transcript online...silly snail mail.

thanks

I agree, I think you have 16 credits.

At my school you land on academic probation for having a gpa of 1.75 to 2.0

Rather than starting a new thread I figured I would just post a reply in this one.

So I got the transcripts from the second college I went to and...59 more credits that I had forgotten about! Not bad considering at the beginning of the week I had zero that I knew about. Time to pick a school and figure out what i need for a BA in liberal studies.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. Im sure I'll have more questions as time goes by.

Since you'll be doing a BA in liberal studies, I'll tell you that the 16 credits in auto will all be used as FREE ELECTIVES (not to be confused with GENERAL EDUCATION ELECTIVES). So, in the event that you were planning on using FEMA, be careful not to overflow that area, because those credits can't be used in any other category.
