Can I come back to complete BABA M&L

Hello folks,

I completed a BLS with a Minor in Management and Political Science in 2023 . I want to come back and complete a BABA in M & L if possible otherwise I will have to go with Project management .

When I crunched everything I have about 8 or 9  courses left to do ( only completed macro, not micro for economics). Is it possible to proceed with BABA M&L and take 2 extra electives to fulfill the residency requirement?

Alim83, Stop, Drop, and Roll. Stop for a moment, Drop what you're doing, Roll along with the following... Technically, you should be able to complete the BBA M&L if you have 30 credits that differ than your previous degree.

That's the main requirement, I would suggest the PM & IS concentration or another one instead though, it depends on what you need and want for your educational goal and what you're doing this degree for...

Get this, you already have residency from your previous degree, that should mean, the most you need is one session for this second degree. And you can transfer in the majority of the remaining degree requirements!

For example, if you're missing those classes and it's offered from Study.com, I would take all the remaining credits at Study.com and only do classes that can't be transferred, you also want to do the 4 classes that can go into the MAOL.

I was looking for the path of least resistance to completing the BABA . But now that I think of it, the PM IS would technically serve me better in my career trajectory. I'll probably start working on some of the Google and IBM certs, then transfer in . Thanks for the advice.

Can you explain this part? .. So technically I don't have to do 30 credits at UMPI . I can transfer more credits to minimize the amount I must complete at UMPI? beyond 90 credits...

That's correct, you have residency credits completed at UMPI already, you just need to complete the requirements of the second degree. If it has 30 credits remaining, you can transfer everything in, but since you're paying for a session already, you can take 1 classes related to the degree and the 4 towards the MAOL if you haven't already.
