CSM Learn

(03-10-2022, 12:10 AM)studyingfortests Wrote: I completed CSMLearn over a weekend. (I think couple hours Fri night plus probably 4-6 hours each Sat and Sun.)  I'm a major math phobe and it was very doable for me.  Best structure I've seen to actually teach and reinforce concepts.

It also, as I remember, has units that deal with English grammar and syntax, and uses a lot of word problems based on pretty real-world scenarios.

At TESU, it came in for me (BA-LSSS) as 'Quantitative Skills for Business" In Lib Studies it counts as a math, and I'm told it will fulfil a stats requirement in some circumstances.

The folks behind it are also really helpful and super responsive. I highly recommend it.

Thank you so much!  This is very reassuring!

Hey guys I know this is old but I'm 50% in and I'm struggling with some of the problems. I have 5 black belt, maybe 13 red belt and a few that's yellow. It's taking me so much time and energy it's frustrating...

You'll have to spend a few more hours, it took me some time too... That's why I suggest having CSM Learn and another subscription, such as Coursera or Sophia.org running, you won't be so bored with just one class!

I know it might seem hard, but you need to try to get as much as you can right the first time, or else it will be like four times the work for each section.

Oh okay, no wonder. But, what happens after you get all the black belt? I noticed that I still get the black belt for the core skills even though I got a red belt under the black belt. What matters is the black belt for the 34 core skills?

Basically, it's like a game until you complete everything, you have to get all black belts to finish...

It's been a while since I did CMS Learn, so my memory of how it all worked is a bit hazy.

You have to get a black belt to pass all the skills.

After you get all the black belts, there's a final exam to do all of them again, its like random and mixed or do you get your cert once you get all the black belts?

There is no final exam, and once you earn a black belt, you aren't tested on that exact skill again.
