@IetsMooi, Welcome to the board, that's a good intro post with the addendum and template! My suggestion is to complete your UofPeople Comp Sci, you can add to that the Pierpont BOG AAS with an emphasis in Info Systems. Since you have Coursera under your belt, you may want to get more of those certs for the balanced mix/match trifecta of certs, degree, experience.
Basically... This is to also get credit for your UMPI BAS with a minor or two, such as the MIS & PM minors along with the 4 classes that go towards the MAOL for use later if needed... I hacked it two years ago for individuals who want to do the BAS/BLS and get a triple minor, I've since been telling people, to do the MAOL in addition to the two or three minors instead.
In fact... Here's a thread reply, from a few minutes ago (almost an hour ago)! Link: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...#pid420108

Thank you! I'm not sure about the UoPeople for a few reasons, mostly organizational on their end. I was looking at the Pierpoint/UMPI combo but wasn't sure how I would do that. I have managed to apply at Pierpoint, so will have to wait for them to get back to me. But when looking at UMPI's website I'm not sure what I need to do to find the information regarding it. I might be getting tripped up by abbreviations. As for Coursera and Sophia, I am still taking courses with them, but only listed what I have completed. Same with ASU through Universal Learner. Circling back to Pierpoint, any specific courses I need to get the AAS? Or how they deal with foreign credits. I know some uni's only allow their preferred evaluation partner. With regards to European unis, don't suggest Metropolia, I am taking courses with them, but don't find their program to be a good fit for me. Especially as they don't seem to be very friendly with transferring in credits. I am able to use the Swedish university systems to get a degree as long as I have enough credits and meet certain other requirements, so will likely try to credit work towards multiple qualifications where possible. Any advice about TESU or Excelsior?

In short, I would continue with the Pierpont BOG and ladder to UMPI BAS... Excelsior doesn't have anything interesting enough, they're not recommended unless you're going for their ABET programs, which take a lot more energy, money, time than UMPI. I would only suggest TESU if you're going for the 2 Associates plus 2 Bachelors combo, along with some of their undergraduate options for certs.
For Pierpont, only send in your ASU plus ACE credits, skip any foreign international credits, it'll just delay your energy, money, time for evaluation and graduation. Having said that, when you go the UMPI route, you'll need to get the foreign credits evaluated if you're wanting to use them for credits. Otherwise, follow the degree templates available for both the Pierpont BOG AAS and the UMPI BAS...

I see. Do you think it would be worth it to send Pierpoint the foreign credits I already have gotten evaluated?

No, you can use evaluation for UMPI or another institution you're thinking of getting the Bachelors from though. Unless it's free for the transcription, you're sending extra info that Peirpont doesn't really need, another reason you may want to is, if the credits are coming from a source that may go under, having it showing on Pierpont transcript may 'house' it for a longer period.

Makes sense. I also emailed Nancy (our MVP for answering emails over the weekend), she made it clear that only WES is accepted. And I used IEE, so I'd need a new evaluation anyway. So that will be down the line after I get more things transcripted in Finland and through Open Universities Australia. Though I know people have been having difficulties getting the Finns to send documents to evaluation services. Reworking the math for the remaining credits leave me at 36. Priority being getting a comms credit, the social sciences credits, and maybe a math/science. And overall getting to the 60 mark primarily on ACE. Which would probably be most efficient on my Coursera Plus membership. Maybe doing a language test for credits, need to look into that. Probably for the Bachelors, I know there were some issues with some languages not getting credits as expected.

Doing some further research I find myself circling around Athabasca. At this stage I only need a checkbox degree for student loan forgiveness, and a slight edge in the points system for Australian immigration, mainly the former. Even though they don't recognize ACE credits, I do have a good amount of foreign credits accumulated for a Bachelor of General Studies. And I might be able to get some PLAR for ACE units if I apply for credit after getting the AAS BOG conferred. Which I have now gotten into and started the process of having them recognize US RA and ACE credits. Looking at my current achieved credits and courses I have already paid for that haven't started yet, I should be able to knock the GenEd reqs out for the Athabasca degree fairly easily. Then gathering some more credits in Finland and Sweden to have assessed shouldn't be too difficult. Any thoughs? I did see guinea pigs were wanted for the Athabasca Bachelor of General Studies.

LOL, that was my thread! You can't be the guinea pig unless you want to spend more energy, money, time on the task at hand. The only 'real' guinea pigs would be the ones with many credits that already are RA, plus those credits have to have 45 that are upper level. ACE, CLEP, are not accepted, it must come from a college... Now having said that, if you did all the ENEB options and had it evaluated by an AICE or NACES member, plus the 1 session for UMPI BAS... You may have enough to get the BGS, Applied Studies option.

I did see that. Given the foreign credits I already have evaluated and assuming the remainder convert at the same ratio it would leave me on 72.5 credit hours. Which division they will be classed as is indeed a question. IEE has not indicated that on the report for the already evaluated credits, so in those cases I guess it would be up to Athabasca to match them to their own offerings to decide. I think it would be worth the credit, but likely only after I finish my current run of studies with Open Universities Australia. For now I will remain unclassified with them. They aren't cheap, but they do have some courses that would meet the requirements of the Swedish degree I am going for quite well (COMP214 comes to mind here). In any case I would want to attempt this before getting any degree from UMPI or Stockholm University, as that would require me to take a certain amount of extra credits. However a Canadian degree in about the same amount of time as a Swedish one would check some boxes that the Swedish one wouldn't, even with the Swedish one being more specific in scope.
