With all this freebies we need to take the chance and gap some credits.
 I do not know why TESU did not give at least a Discount in the residency waver 50% off.

Most of the colleges I've seen doing this (many I didn't list because of residency or on-campus requirements) were community colleges. Since their tuition is already cheap, the federal funding goes further in covering tuition. There are a few private colleges doing this out of desperation because their enrollment numbers have dropped substantially.

Central Texas College is awarding up to $2,000. I registered for an accounting class because I need additional accounting credits, and I was awarded $1,000. They have multiple start dates throughout each semester, so you can apply at any time. You need to register for a Fall 2021 class before filling out the financial assistance application. There is also a requirement to have had a hardship or unexpected expenses because of COVID.

Im enrolled already South Texas College, I keep calling them during the last 2 weeks to get my account approved, I will pickup all the CBE courses that are 4 credits is the best choice, the residency credit requirements are that you need to take at least 18 credits from them to be awarded for a Associate degree. All the other credits you can transfer in to a maximum of 90 credits. I took the CBE program, all the competency exams are proctored, the best thing is that its free.
