COSC for inexpensive psych degree?

Hi.  I first joined this forum asking for my girlfriend.  Then I got addicted and am nearly done.  She has hinted at possibly picking up the psych degree and I want to encourage her.  Would COSC be the least expensive current option?  She would utilize study.com, straighterline and the others to cover gen ed.  Would the GRE be a good way to knock out some credits?  Thank you

I don't think COSC will be the cheapest, because some of their requirements aren't able to be found inexpensively. So if at least a couple classes will cost upwards of $500 each if you're lucky, then the degree suddenly becomes a lot more expensive than others.

I would have her create spreadsheets for COSC, EC, TESU, and Patten. Compare them all and see what you can find on cost. They will all be different.

Yes, the GRE would give 18 credits for Psych in a mix of upper and lower level course equivalents (15LL / 3UL). 

As far as the major requirements, most aren't a problem but a couple you'd have to check on.

PSY 101: Psychology - ANYWHERE
PSY 216: Statistics in Psychology - ALEKS Stats for Behavioral Sciences
PSY 490: History & Systems in Psychology - Coopersmith History of Systems Psyc (UL) (secularcourses.com)
PSY 410: Research Methods for Behavioral Sciences - UExcel Research Methods in Psychology (UL) 

Choose TWO of the following (The only ones I'm not sure about are Psy 322 and 248, you could email them and find out if they would count.):
PSY 320: Cognitive Psychology - Not sure on any equiv for this one, would pick two from the other 3
PSY 450: Introduction to Neuropsychology - Coopersmith Physiological Psychology (UL) 
PSY 322: Learning and Memory - Maybe Lifespan Developmental Psychology / Human Growth and Development? Lower level in most places except Coopersmith, the others come from DSST / UExcel / Study.com 
PSY 248: Adolescent Psychology - Maybe UExcel Juvenile Delinquency or Study.com Educational Psychology? 

Choose ONE of the following:
PSY 321: Social Psychology - UExcel Social Psychology (UL)
PSY 334: Psychology of Personality - Not sure who has this one, pick one from the other 2
PSY 336: Abnormal Psychology - UExcel / TECEP / or Coopersmith (UL)

5 General Psychology concentration elective courses - ANYWHERE (If she does the GRE, these 5 courses would be filled in with GRE Psych equivalents, and one would be left over and go into general electives)
