I was glancing over my advising worksheet this morning and I noticed that COSC gave me a score of 54 on US History 1, instead of a 64. It's still a passing grade, but should I let them know about the mistake, or am I just being anal about something trivial? It bothers me when I see it written like that, but part of me thinks I have bigger things to worry about, like graduating this year.
What do you guys think? Would you leave it as is and take the pass if it were your transcript? Or would your inner OCD take the wheel and make you call the Registrar's every hour until they changed it?

Just send the registrar an email. They will check it and change it. There's nothing wrong with expecting the grade you earned to be displayed.

Sent the e-mail at 12:25 and they fixed it at 12:54. I feel so bad for those poor people in that office who have to deal with me. lol +1 for awesome COSC customer service, though.
I'm just afraid that 9/10 of the stuff I worry about is so unimportant that people will be upset if I bring it up. I'm not even sure if that score would have shown up on a final transcript, but like you said publius, there's nothing wrong with wanting to display the score you worked hard for.

Think of it this way: You shouldn't have to be going behind them and checking their work. If it had been done right the first time, you wouldn't have to bring it to their attention a second time.

Don't worry about asking your adviser or registrar at COSC any questions you may think are trivial. I am sure I already asked every single one and they were very nice. (I was really confused when I started) I have also noticed incorrect things like upper level tests not counted as such on my advising sheet and they were corrected immediately when I asked. Their service is top notch.
