Information about SL courses for Charter Oak can be found here: https://www.straighterline.com/colleges/...uivalency/
According to that page, they are all LL sciences but they do work for the lab requirement.

Yes, you can do any lab, as long as it matches a course that you took. If you take Bio and Environmental Science, you either need a Bio Lab or Environmental Science Lab to get the credit.

For example bio and env science from sophia, which I already have, the lab portion is a different course I can take at SL? sorry for my confusion on this.

As long as the lab matches the course, you can take them separately. It's just usually easier to take the courses together. I'm not sure that the biology lab matches Sophia's Biology but the environmental science lab might work.

The lab doesn't have to "match" the course in content, it just has to have the same name. So virtually ANY Biology I lab would work.

You can take the bio lab separately. My son did. Granted it was several years ago. We had to pay for a lab kit. TBH, it was (at least then) very junior high-ish, but it ticks the box for a lab course.
