So I am new and I have been stalking the forum for a bit. I have an AS degree in biotechnology and I have taken a couple stabs at finishing my BS at a B n M school with no luck, but I need a Bachelors in a science to move up at work.
I thought about TESC natural science and math, but I am curious about COSC Biology. Specifically the GRE option. But I can't find the other classes I would need, the 2 UL labs. I was hoping one of the gurus could point me the right way
This is the requirement:
Option 2: The GRE Subject Test in Biology, evaluated at 24 credits (15 lower, 9 upper), and at least 12 additional credits that must include two upper level laboratory courses and the 3-credit capstone.

It would appear that your online options for the lab requirements are limited. You may want to check with local colleges to meet this requirement. Please post your experience if you decide to pursue the GRE option.
Excelsior College (BIO-300):
Error: need cookies
This meets Excelsior Colleges upper level lab requirement. It may do the same at Charter Oak.
University of Southern Mississippi (BSC-429):
DANTES Online Catalog
It would appear that this school offers an independent study option for Plant Morphology with a lab component.
Hope this helps.

Thanks! Those class look great. I was wondering about prerequisites, do most independent students just email for permission into classes? I saw some local upper level classes that I could use as fall back but they list some prereqs I will have tests that are (probably) equivalent by then, do those qualify?

It will be up to the individual college about how they handle prerequisites. If you decide to go this route, I encourage to do your research ahead of time. Charter Oak's advisers might be able to help out with some of your questions. You aren't the first person to use the GRE Biology exam there. Just the first one I've seen on this forum.
