COSC Bachelor Degree Requirements - Gen Ed, Electives, Major
#1
COSC has made various changes to their degree requirements and the alternative credit providers that they will accept.  Some members may find it harder than before to complete a degree due to these requirements.  I would recommend creating a spreadsheet and planning carefully yet resourcefully to get to your degree goal and finish.

Study.com is an approved provider within their directory, I suggest investigating that route for max transfer of alternative credits, especially when they provide upper level credits that may go towards your degree requirements, or if you want to knock out tougher credits cheaper, easier, faster than a traditional college...

Study.com just rolled out a major update:
No more unnecessary quizzes
New pricing models with unlimited monthly access

College Starter - $95/month: Unlimited courses (in a month), enroll in 2 at a time (lower division)
College Saver - $235/month: Access to all upper + lower division, enroll in 3 courses at a time, with no limit on how many you can take in a month
No proctoring, no busywork, 100% online and self-paced

Here's my link if you're looking to check it out further: https://bit.ly/4iAABIu

Would love to hear what others think. These Study.com updates seem ideal for prospective students...

Sometimes I look back at the Big 3 and I'm quite jealous of the success that others have had with it. I wish I had discovered this forum sooner. Alas, the Big 3, specifically COSC and Excelsior have made it nearly impossible to maximize transfer credits, and if you have a bachelors or above, you can't use the unique max transfers. This new proposal from Study.com might make this more feasible however for newer members.
