Thanks for this info. Needing one class for the ethics/personal and social responsibility portion after passsing the sociology CLEP and going to try the psychology one but wanted to make sure of this since I took it in college and failed . I look back and think how much time I wasted if I would have just went to class instead of partying...

There's a free Insurance Ethics course that's worth 2cr at TESU, but they will give you a waiver on the 3rd credit and add it to your Gen Ed's: Preserve the trust on which insurance transactions are based with an understanding of ethics

Most schools no, but according to cookderosa TESU will allow it. Not saying cookderosa is wrong or anything but I would definitely double check before you take the CLEP. Also FYI Psych CLEP was easy, very easy. I know I only got a 61 on it but that was with about 7 or so hours of studying total.

I have the ethics class and into to sociology CLEP, but still need one other class here like psych or history. Seems the psych CLEP might be the easiest one so I can get this area knocked out by mid October. Thanks guys and gals and I will double check to make sure.

You can say I'm wrong, I've been wrong a lot. Of course, if I were saying someone were wrong, I'd probably provide the link backing it up.....but that's just me.

I will point to my post again and say that there's a FREE course you can take to replace your failed course. Why would you pay for a CLEP if you didn't have to? And if it turns out that cookderosa is wrong (I doubt it), then you aren't out any money if TESU won't take it.

Since it looks like you are on the 2015 catalog, you have a lot more options to fulfill this section, which means that you don't have to even chance that TESU won't take the course: Thomas Edison State University | General Education Courses - 2015 or Before
