Those scores were off the hook! A perfect score on A&I is fantastic, and you were MORE than ready on your soc. Excellent job!!

I'm not sure yet! Maybe Spanish or College Mathematics? I need to check with my school first because due to some bizarre circumstances I already have transfer credit for Intermediate Spanish III. 7+ years ago I signed up for a single class at a neighboring state school, attended for 5 weeks and never went back. Only this year when I went through the application process did I find out I had been awarded credit for that misadventure (4 credits at a 2.00 - humbling to have that on a transcript, but I had an A+ when I stopped showing up and I guess it was enough to average out to a C despite missing most of the class). When I first found out, I was thrilled as it was essentially 4 free credits, but I really hope it doesn't keep me from getting 12 credits from the Spanish CLEP.

If you have 4 credits in Spanish 3 (but not 1 and 2? Why?) , it would make sense that you could use CLEP for Spanish 1 and 2, however, some fussy colleges require sequential learning (1 and 2 before 3) and may not allow it at all. It's worth checking, your situation is too unique to say for sure, especially since so much would depend on your college's policy.

I don't have 1 & 2 because my college placement test put me into upper-level conversational spanish. I downgraded a level because it had been so long since I had taken spanish that I thought that would be the appropriate course through which to reintroduce myself. If they won't allow me to do spanish at all, I might try french or german. Languages come pretty easily to me.

Uhhhh. Okay. Advanced standing, what a bunch of bull. Liberal arts colleges with $$$ price tags love to do that for AP scores, it's really not a benefit to anyone (except them).
So, if language comes easy, you should try French and German. Both have CLEP exams! Duolingo did an effectiveness study showing 34 hours should be the equivalent to 1 semester of college level language learning. If you're especially quick in this area, you can probably test out of a whole year after that kind of investment. Duolingo is free, I'm currently studying French with them to attempt the CLEP exam.

Quick question: I just took a look at my school transcript today, and the Sociology exam is showing up (added yesterday), but AI Lit is not. I took them on the same day. Should I be worried or just check back next week? I'll be so sad if I don't get 6 credits for that 80!!!

Sounds like you overstudied for A&I :p
There probably is just some delay, or an adviser hasn't gotten to it yet. Are you a student at TESC, COSC or Excelsior?

Sorry to jump into your thread. I just tested today and got a 58 on my first CLEP which was Human Growth and Development. I am now looking to take the Sociology CLEP on July 7th. Human Growth and Development came rather easy and I say I only prepared for about one week total. Was wondering people opinions on Intro to Sociology CLEP. I took a practice test without preparing at all and got 59 out of 100 questions. Those who took both...easier or harder? Similar? Thanks in advance!
