CLEP Principals of Management
#1
Hi, I'm studying for principles of management but having a hard time grasping on the subject with the different inventions and scholars. Can anyone provide any input or feedback that can help me out. Thanks.

I would start by reviewing the flashcards available here, and then get a textbook on management and cruise through taking notes on the vital stuff as laid out in the CLEP test description. If you are a member I would highly recommend you browse through the specific feedback forum, lots of helpful tips and study aids are found there. Also, the Search bar is helpful for generic questions such as this! Good luck!

I second 'Farmerboy'.

Personally I found the flashcards were more than I needed (though I was already familiar with everyday management), but 'MalekAli03' what inventions are you talking about?

I am studying Management right now also. I found some pod casts on I-tunes. I always find I learn things better when I can hear it as well. Just search for Principles of Management on I-tunes and it should come up. The ones I found are free from IONA College. Hope this is helpful for you!

Thank you all. When I mentioned inventions, I meant ideas, functions, laws, and so forth. I was just looking at a better way to study the materials. Flashcards don't work well for me. I thought this would be a multiple choice questions/answers with explanations which I tend to do a lot better with.

Read the REA book. That was my only source of preparation and I got an extremely high score on this test. The REA books are worth their weight in gold for the CLEP tests. If you don't know what they are just go to amazon.com and type in REA CLEP management and you will see. They are at your library and at your local bookstore. Good luck.

I agree with ryoder... the REA books are amazing, and for me anyway, an essential part of my CLEP study regimen. They are pretty cheap on Amazon.com and worth it since each book also comes with 3 practice tests in the back, plus a CD-ROM with a software version of the practice tests. You can sometimes find the books in a library as well, but they don't always come with the software.
