CLEP PDFs published by the CollegeBoard with Scoring Scale (and PT)

Looking for a copy of Prloko's pdf on the web, I stumbled across all of these. They're all from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor (Belton, TX), though they all seem to be published by the CollegeBoard. Not only do all of them contain a practice exam, but 2nd to the last page is a scoring scale which shows you how many you need to get correct. They mention in the beginning how CLEPs are scored as well as some other info.

Strangely enough, I was never able to find all the exams. There's still a decent amount below. It's enough to be thought provoking though. What are your guy's thoughts? Has any else ever seen any of these?

Excellent find! We have all been curious about the CLEP scoring results for a long time.

Wow, these are really neat. I wish I had come across these sooner. The break down of scores is very nice. It's cool to see what grade your score would equal! I also thought it was neat to look at the percentages of ages and genders that take CLEP. I always wondered what they did with the info from those questions they asked before and after the test. Now I know! lol I'll definitely be using those practice tests in the future.

Oh, and just a sidenote, when I clicked on the American Government link, it didn't work. That seems like the only one so just a heads up.

EDIT: The Social Sciences and History one didn't work for me either. Maybe it's just me!

Okay, so it appears some links work for different people and others don't. If it doesn't work, when their site pops up and it says "oops", "not found" or whatever search for it by typing in "CLEP [that exam name, (i.e. American Government)]" Not sure why it does this, even after I opened it up, it's the same exact url. I had it happen to me 2 or 3 times. Hope this helps.

Great find! Thank you very much for sharing them. I was very shocked to see that many tests require you not to make any mistakes to get the 80. I would have assumed that one or two mistakes would still make the 80 possible.

I noticed that the Social Sciences and History file had an issue with the link: http://cths.umhb.edu/system/filesSocial_...ry.pdf.pdf. It should be "files/Social_" (it's missing the "/"). The American Government link follows the same pattern.

Actually, from what I can tell you can miss questions and still get an 80. For example, if you look at US History I the test contains approximately 120 questions and in order to get an 80 you have to get 87-90 correct. So it looks like you could miss close to 30 questions and still get an 80. At least that's what it looks like. I could be wrong though.

Oh, you are right. I had looked at the College Mathematics and English lit tests, which require perfect scores to get the 80. It makes sense that the longer tests have an error margin. Thank you for the update; I was starting to get worried about those requirements.

If we've learned anything from the formerly free Peterson's tests, you should know to download these now in case they aren't available later.
