My son has his first CLEP in two weeks and he is stuggling to get through the Peterson's practice test in a timely manner. 120 questions in 90 minutes (US History) is going to be a challenge. Do you remember if the actual test (on the computer) has a countdown timer?

yes it does, on the top left it will tell you how many minutes you have starting from an hour and a half (1:30) and down.. example, 45 minutes left to finish would look like this (0:45)

I second the above post. The timer can be hidden if it bothers you. Sometimes I did that when I was new to clep. However when the timer gets low it Will be visible for rest of the test (I don't remember at what point this kicks in, I want to say 10 minutes but it might only be 5).
