Hello,

This is what I got from my adviser regarding Calculus 3 at West Texas A&M University:

The Heavin School got back to me with a TESU Course Equivalency for the MATH 3340C. They said it will transfer in a MAT-3310 and will apply to your Calculus III Requirement.

I have not taken it yet but it looks like it should transfer just fine.

nice, but 4 proctored exams is a lot ...

Please note, Education on Demand math courses involve self-study and four proctored exams. Students unable to conduct proctored exams at a college or university testing center due to COVID-19 closings must have the equipment for online proctoring.

How Your Grade Will be Determined
Your final course average will be calculated by counting your lowest test grade once and each of your other three test grades twice. Your letter grade in this class will be determined by your “final course average” as follows:
        90-100 is an A,      80-89.9 is a B,         70-79.9 is a C,        60-69.9 is a D,        0-59.9 is an F.
There will be no retake tests, so make sure that you do the very best that you can when you take each of the four tests.          Each test is mainly computational in nature. In order to receive full or partial credit on a test problem, you must follow the stated directions on the test, and you must show how you obtained your answer to the question by using an appropriate mathematically correct process as taught in this course that is consistent with the learning objectives described above.
Calculators will not be needed, nor allowed to be used, while taking any of the tests.            Homework can be used to earn up to 5 bonus points on each of the tests
Further Information about the Course and the Four Exams
The maximum amount of time allowed for an exam is 2 hours (if you are well prepared for the exam you should finish the exam in less than 2 hours). Each problem on an exam will be very similar to a problem that was assigned as homework for that particular test. The intent of each comprehensive exam is to determine if you can work the problems (or very similar problems with minor algebraic changes) that were assigned as homework.
You may complete the course as quickly or slowly as you wish (with the exceptions that you cannot take a test during the first  2 weeks of your enrollment unless you have made prior arrangements with me, tests must be at least 3 days apart, and you cannot complete the course in less than 3 weeks).
Before you request to take a test, be sure that you can work all (or nearly all) of the problems that were assigned on the Handout Sheets that pertain to that particular test without the help of my solution sheets or the help of a tutor. Otherwise, you will probably be unhappy with your score on the exam.
How to Obtain Bonus Credit for Turning in the Assigned Homework
You will receive up to 5 bonus points on each exam for turning in the homework that applies to that unit test in a neat and orderly fashion with all of the problems of each Handout Sheet worked in the order in which they were assigned. Note that bonus points cannot be used to make any test grade exceed 100, and you can only get a grade of 100 on a test if you actually make 100 on the test itself (i.e., your maximum grade on a test is 99 if you make any mistakes on the test itself).
In order to receive some or all of the 5 bonus points on a test, you must turn in the homework associated with a given unit test as one or more PDF files that are attached to e-mails that are sent to me (bambrose@wtamu.edu) during the 24-hour period just before you take the test associated with that unit. Please send ALL of the unit homework to me at the same time (which may require several e-mails). For example, send ALL of the homework on Unit 1 to me at the same time right before you take the Unit 1 test.  Homework will NOT be accepted for bonus credit after you take the test. Pictures (of any kind) of individual pages will not be accepted for bonus points. If you are taking the test on the WT campus, you have the option of turning in your handwritten homework when you take the test if you prefer, but, but students taking the test at any other (preferably college) testing site should e-mail me their homework as a PDF file attached to an e-mail if you want the bonus points for doing the homework.
How to Arrange to Take a Test at WTAMU in Canyon
When you are ready to take a unit test, please contact me (bambrose@wtamu.edu) or someone in the Education on Demand office (educationondemand@wtamu.edu) at least 2 business days (not including weekends and holidays) prior to the time that you wish to take the test in order to arrange a time and day to take the exam in my office or the EOD office. As mentioned earlier, if you are taking the test on the WT campus, you may turn in your handwritten homework at the time of the test if you prefer to do this rather than e-mailing it to me, but the homework will not be returned to you.
How to Arrange a Take a Test at a College other than WTAMU
When you are ready to take a unit test,
(1)             find a nearby testing center (preferably a college testing center) where you want to take the test (they will probably charge you a fee to do this since people rarely do things for free),
(2)             at least 3 business days (not including weekends and holidays) before you want to take the test, send the name of the testing center to the EOD office (educationondemand@wtamu.edu) so that they will have time to check out your proposed testing site, and
(3)             once you have received notice from the EOD office that your testing site has been approved, send the e-mail address of the approved testing site to me (bambrose@wtamu.edu) at least 2 business days before you plan to take the test so that I will know where to send the test and will have the necessary time needed to send the test to your approved testing site.
Note: It is not a problem if you need to change the time of a scheduled test. But, please send me (bambrose@wtamu.edu) an e-mail letting me know of your new testing time so that I will when, and when not, to be expecting a test from your testing site.     Note: if you delay the time of your test by more than 2 days after you have sent a PDF of your homework, you will lose the bonus points unless you resend the homework again during the 24-hour period directly before you take the rescheduled test.
Note: If you plan to take all of the tests at the same college testing site, you do not need to contact the EOD office before each test, you simply need to allow me the required amount of time and to resend me the e-mail address of the testing site (please include the course number and the test number that you want me to send). However, each time that you change to a new college testing site that you have not used before, you will need to follow the entire 3-step procedure listed above.

In order to do Calculus 3 at West Texas A&M University one must show that they have completed Calculus 2 and StraighterLine is not accepted. I am really struggling with finding a Calculus 3 course and I am leaning more and more towards doing it at TESU.

SNHU was not a good alternative?

Liberty Online has MATH 430 Multivariable Calculus. My understanding is that Multivariable Calculus conventionally transfers as Calculus III, some schools just title it differently.

Thank you, guys. I will check them out. I'm, still considering Wescott. It will transfer but as a LL course, which I am not sure I want. I will check oit your suggestions as well. Liberty Online seems pretty interesting. I will check with my adviser and also contact them today.

Thank you once again!
