English Comp ?

Whats the deal with the English Comp CLEP? I see there is one that is all multiple choice and one that is multiple plus essay. Which is the better one to take? Is the instancert english flashcards enough to pass it? I have successfully taken 10 other cleps with just instacert but I would just like other peoples opinions. I am in need of 6 english credits to get into a career switcher program to become a teacher. The program does not accept AP credits which I used to satisfy my english requirements whwere I got my degree. Any help would greatly appreciated.

Take English Comp with the Essay to be safe. Almost all schools will accept that.
The first CLEP I ever took I was accidentally administered the wrong exam (Freshman College Comp instead of English Comp w/essay) which as I found out later, TESC doesn't grant credit for. So, I lost 6 credits and have to go back study all over again and take the right test :mad:
Just my opinion.
