Big 3 mentioned on Forbes

Oregon is NOT.

The Big 3 are schools; they are not states. You can't compare a state to individual schools. 99.99% of the colleges and universities in the U.S. are not nearly as flexible as the Big 3.

You seem to have an ax to grind with Oregon. Do you live there? Why don't you move if you're so unhappy? Oregon State University and University of Oregon do award credits for military training.

You graduated. Why are you complaining? I'm sure the Big 3 have extremely low graduation rates due to the type of student they serve, but it has no effect on me. I had a plan, I persisted, and I graduated.

Oregon has very few enrolled Veterans, being anti-military. OSU is better. I do not plan on being buried there.

To earn a transfer degree to UO/OSU from an Oregon CC young kids need 4 science courses (3 must be labs). This was not a requirement in the 1980s (my generation) nor does it make kids today smarter (grade inflation).

It has produced = low graduation rates at the CC's.

The UO/OSU grads make less than Excelsior grads....go figure!

Progressive Education?

In 2013, Oregon’s HS graduation rate was the lowest of any state in the country, at 68.7 percent.

In other words, you think progressive = easier.

What does this have to do with the progressiveness of colleges and universities?

I just looked at my Oregon military transcript. My U. of Oregon Supplemental Advanced Standing Report. I was granted 39 military credits.

They accepted ZERO towards any degree!:nopity:

Hollow fake progressive UofO BS.

I was still commissioned there, but like most we have little school respect for the college. Unlike my Texas A&M graduate alumni friends.:iagree:

Despite the incoherent rants and your hate of the State of Oregon (you also seem to hate TESU), there are several progressive colleges in the West. I'm actually quite envious of the amount of tuition assistance offered to the National Guard and State Defense Forces in California. It's much more than what's being offered in Texas. What's listed on NationalGuard.com is inaccurate.

I like TESU. I only think the TESU Emergency Management Degree is way overrated. One degree program does not make it a bad institution. You take it too personal?

I also think Coastline CC in California is way better to the military than anything in Oregon. Fact, I talked to one of their academic advisors (an Oregon graduate degree graduate) who also agreed Oregon is a Regressive education State.
