Basic Program - Year 3 - Winter
#1
Moving right along in the Basic Program.

Anticipating some great discussions in the new year/next term.

"he Year 3 Winter Seminar explores texts that were foundational in the development of the natural sciences. In the Tutorial, we explore two very different epic journeys of personal transformation."

I've read a couple of those texts before when I studied philosophy. Seems like a well-rounded program.

It is.

Just learning for the sake of learning. We read the books. (a deep Reading - University of Chicago style). Then, The best part - We meet once a week as a cohort via Zoom to discuss what we've read.
I am enjoying the program even more than I thought I would. Last term I particularly enjoyed Henry Fielding's "The History of Tom Jones A Foundling." Yet another book I never would have read if it were not part of the program
