BSBA CIS Final Class Options
#1
Hello, I am looking for a final CIS Elective for my BSBA.  I know there is a couple study.com options left, but was looking to see if there was anything else out there that people have used.  I am also searching threads in here as well. Screenshot attached

Thanks in advance
Randy

Just wondering where you got your other CIS courses?  Also, why do  you not like SDC?  Also, Davar Academy has a course CIS 315 Management Information Systems.  https://www.davaracademy.com/business.html

I like study.com, but was hoping to avoid a lot of assignment work on the last one.  Do you know if the Davar is assignments and test or just a test?

Thanks

For BSBA CIS, I have the following listed for SDC:
Comp Sci 302: System Analysis & Design -> CIS-320
Comp Sci 303: Database Management -> CIS-311
Business 303: Management Information Systems -> CIS-301
Business 309: Digital Marketing & Advertising -> MAR-441

The Davar course will definitely work. Davar doesn't (usually) have assignments (I think Public Speaking and/or English Comp might?). It's just a test. IIRC, usually multiple-choice but sometimes there are essay-format questions. I don't know about this course in particular.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA

Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

Yes, I would recommend you take the Davar MIS course for your final upper level. AND take another Finance course from them. I don't recall how many more courses you need for your Finance Area of Study, but having a Finance AOS in addition to your CIS would be awesome. You can take two business exams from Davar at $99 for both, the proctor fee is $15 each, so for $129, you get 6 UL credits. Another option is at Coopersmith but... If you need more upper level, Study.com is where the UL courses are best...

Yup, to recap, you should do the following 2 Davar/2Study.com combo...
Take the Davar Academy Corporate Finance Exam in addition to the MIS course for $129 - 6 credits
Then switch to Study.com for the final 2 of the below 3 courses needed for the Finance AOS

Finance 303: Financial Institutions & Markets = FIN-331 Financial Institutions and Markets
Finance 304: Security Analysis & Portfolio Management = FIN-321 Security Analysis & Portfolio Management
Finance 306: Small Business Finance = FIN-314 Small Business Finance
