I was reading earlier that for some reason, they allow Two Area Of Study with General Management.
I thought it was only just one area of study, so now I am changing my expected grad to December.
This is because I would like to get into another area as well, as a concentration, but haven't decided.
There are two or three I am interested in, Accounting, Marketing and CIS. I may favor Marketing for
the amount of test out able TECEPS, but is that the most cost effective one? Does someone have a
spreadsheet of which providers to use for these three options and recommended courses?
I looked at the spreadsheet I currently have, for Accounting, I may just need a few more courses.
The cost/ease and speed of finishing the courses are factors I am also looking at. I would like to do
these courses like I did with ALEKS and Straighterline, about 5 courses a month on average. Thanks!
Goals: TESU BSBA GM (Added CIS) and BA Computer Science
BSBA GM - Added CIS AOS (CIS & GM completed)
BACS & Grad Plans (BACS instead of BALS w/NSM)
AAS ACS & ESST: Remaining - Associate Capstone
ASNSM CS: Completed, ASNSM Math: Remaining - Calculus I
Taking a majority of credits at Sophia.org, SL, and Study.com to finish these degrees
Updating my courses remaining by following forum advice, guide, spreadsheet & wiki

I believe marketing is the cheapest and easiest now, besides GM. I don't think you would find the TECEPs as easy as SL/Study.com, but someone with good study skills can do them quickly.
CIS is not bad on cost, but of course you need to take some programming/networking type courses. It requires a $250 CSU-Global CBE, a $99 Straighterline course, and others that are cheaper.
I am not sure for Accounting. It seems that one real class might be required, or at least a $250 CSU-Global CBE.
Ops Man is not bad in terms of cost. I believe it's around the same as CIS.

I'm a little confused. Are you saying you want the General Management AOS PLUS 2 additional ones? Or General Management plus 1 additional one? Or 2 AOS's other than GM?
They will allow 2 AOS's within the BSBA (not within GM, since that's an AOS by itself).

Hello. I am deciding to change my BSBA GM to BSBA GM & another AOS.
Looking for simplest one to complete from Accounting, Marketing and CIS.

Marketing is definitely simpler than Accounting or CIS, unless you already know a programming language or a bunch of accounting.

The 12 UL Accounting Courses are pretty easy if you go the SL/Study Route. Study.com is going to have the whole AoS available once all there classes get approved. But in terms of right now
SL - Managerial Accounting - Comes in as ACC-303 Cost Accounting
Study.com - Applied Managerial Accounting - Comes in as ACC-301 Managerial Accounting
Study.com - Advanced Accounting I - Comes in as ACC-401 Advanced Accounting I
TECEP - Federal Income Taxation - Comes in as ACC-421 Federal Income Taxation
That is your cheapest AoS options. However not sure if you will need Intermediate I/II. I would hope so as these are needed. Right now your options for these is
SL - Financial Accounting - Comes in as ACC-201 Intermediate Accounting I
Penn Foster - Intermediate Accounting II
Community College - Intermediate Accounting II
Study.com Does have both Intermediate Accounting I/II but they haven't been approved yet for credit.
Thomas Edison State University - BSBA: Accounting - September 2017
B&M: Stats, Business Law I, Microeconomics, Business Comm, Computer Concepts and Apps, Financial Accounting, Intermediate Accounting II, Managerial Accounting, Not-for-Profit Accounting
CLEP: Sociology, Psychology, Marketing, College Comp Modular, Human Growth and Development
Institutes: Ethics 312
Aleks: Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, PreCalculus
Shmoop: U.S. History I, U.S. History II, Modern European History
Study.com: Principles of Finance, Advanced Accounting I, Applied Managerial Accounting, American Government, Macroeconomics, Principles of Management, Globalization and International Management, English Composition II, Intro to Computing, Public Speaking, Info Systems and Comp Apps
SL: Intermediate Accounting I, Introduction to Religon, Cost Accounting, Western Civilization I/II
TECEP: Strategic Management, Federal Income Tax

Thanks for the information! Accounting OR Marketing seem like a great choice as most courses are available for cheap.
Accounting II is what I am missing, which community college offers it cheap for non residents, I think Penn Foster is $329
Marketing, I'll need to take some TECEPS, I don't mind that as I will need to study hard for those exams.
CIS seems to be a good choice, but options are limited and more costly. I'll decide on Accounting or Marketing.

I think the CIS is actually the best priced AOS. The CSU-Global course, which is a requirement, is expensive at $250, but then there are a bunch of Saylor courses which will more than make up for that cost.
