The UL courses look interesting! Going to be real fun seeing a new wiki entry for which courses can be used. Study courses should work for some of the UL health courses.

Wow, the curriculum actually looks pretty decent. Is BIO 105 still horrible?

YUP! And neither Sophia or Study have an equivalent.

That's great to know, good stuff for those looking towards health related admin roles... Now you have more choices to select from, see what the requirements are and compare the classes, costs, etc and see which one fits you more...

It looks like there is a practicum requirement, which could really slow things down.

This isn't a degree where you can transfer in 90 credits and only have 30 to complete at UMPI.

Healthcare admin types are by and large terrible and completely disconnected from how clinical operations work.
I would HOPE they have a practicum at the very MINIMUM.

There is a practicum required and a capstone project. There are numerous health courses required not just business courses. This program is already available on campus.

I read over the courses, (I was referring to the previous commenter's comment.) I have taken them all at some point. They aren't adequate, IMO, for those in healthcare leadership positions. I am glad they at least have sort of captstone/practicum though.
Personally, I think ALL healthcare admin types should be clinicians first THEN delve into the leadership/business realm. Its been a problem at every hospital I have worked at. Don't get me started on the "consultants" lol...
