If your goal is an MBA you can probably get that at a lower tier school and apply it at your given job. If your career goal on the othe hand is a Masters in Physics then name recognition matters and where you get your masters is important.
Point being realize that all decsions have consequences. If you graduate from TESC with 114 transfer credits then you have to know that you are limiting your options.

That's great, cookderosa. But what are the options for those online classes? Are you talking about BYU-IS, LSU, and others? Cuz my Southern-California-student antennae went up when you said that!

Aso, since grad school is your goal, I would work on selecting a few that have the programs you want. Put together a plan for yourself and make some appts. with admissions advisors (if that's geographically feasible.) At the very least you may avoid spending time on classes/exams that won't take you where you want to go. If you really want UCLA, go there and talk to them, with your plan. Could be a total no-go, or it could be 'your plan is fine with certain adjustments.'
I know we are used to getting along by email and phone, but in-person discussions still carry a lot of weight in some places.

You'll have to find out, but I've never heard of a public CC that doesn't accept transfer credits.
