BA degree in ?? need help

Yes - normally it says 18cr UL at the bottom of the degree and applies to all of the AOS (applying up to the whole degree), but on the BSAST, it says 12cr UL underneath where it shows the Capstone and PM course (applying down to the electives). The capstone and PM are both UL, which would mean that you would have 18cr UL when all is said and done. Just a different way of laying things out.

Now, I see. In OSS, it says 12 of the 18 credits in the electives must be 300/400 level. Then, they have the technical studies core (Current Trends and Applications and Project Management) in a separate section. That's still not bad and much less than the 30 UL credits one would need for an Excelsior degree.

My evaluation is almost entirely computer studies, so they don't have a max on the number of credits from one area you can use.

TESU's BSAST degrees only require 12 UL credits. Three of those credits are covered by the Current Trends and Applications capstone. Another three of those credits are covered by the project management requirement, which you can fulfill with a Sophia Learning course that is self-paced. You can test out of the other 6 UL credits if you don't already have them.

Below is a "unofficial" review of my credits for the BSAST in Technical Studies at TESU
It seems they will transfer in 61 of my 91 credits. I am a bit confused between SH applied to degree Req = 61 & CC SH Applied? How many credits did they apply? How many do I still need?
why does it say SH to be planned = 38 if I have 59 needed?

Are all my tech core credits beside " Current Trends & Aps" & "Project Management" fulfilled?

Well, for one, I can see several courses that have the units in parenthesis and the designation "*CC *PL *DOC *TE". "PL" and "CC" means its a planned community college, not one you've taken yet. I'm not sure what "DOC" means. There should be a key at the bottom that tells you. I also see that you have one duplicate credit (*DUP), so there's at least one credit of your 91 they didn't count because of that. Did you discuss those taking those "PL" courses with advising and they added them as planned or are they courses you already took? If you already took them, it may be that they have not completed evaluating your transcripts.

You are only allowed either 22cr of "old" stuff in the technical area. So, because you have so many credits that are over 10 years old (10Y), they are not counting some. DOC means Demonstration of Currency, again the credits are too old. This is an issue with technical degrees, and also with business degrees for whatever reason (I have some 10Y credits they wouldn't count as well, but only in my AOS for my BSBA).

No, the courses with parenthesis around the units are planned, not real, but they are making it look like you have more done than you do. For instance, under Technical Studies it says 18cr Completed but 9 of them are planned.

Unless TESU can be convinced to accept those courses, you'll have to fill those credits in.

OP: I will recommend the to email the academic advising team in regards to this, or email the team that sent you that evaluation.
Either way, they'll explain exactly what goes where and why, and also explain to you what you will require in its place.
If you have further questions and need answers from TESU advising, they will be able to assist with whatever that may be.
