Tesu Voucher 500$
#41
I will be more than happy to share it with someone else if I do not use it for a second course. But I have only one voucher, and that needs to be applied to two courses. So, I am wondering what that means. Will it be split up into 250 $ for each course? But yes, I will most definitely bear you in mind.

If the Capstone is the only course you will take from TESU, give the second voucher to someone else in need (*smile*) as I am going for the BACS/Math major.  Order your capstone and decide what to do afterward, just don't waste it.

The voucher is for $500 but only after you register for two courses, so I wouldn't expect it could be split. Think of it as a $500 rebate once you've registered for the two classes (so $500 off $2200 assuming SDC tuition discount).

Also, based on the wording it sounds like gifted vouchers can only be used by new TESU students. So even if it could be split, you already have a TESU degree so that would invalidate you.

@Supermind - your best bet is just to email TESU and find out what can/can't be done with the voucher. I think you need to take two courses with them, but if one course isn't needed, they should be able to work with you in regards to what options there are.

I will do that. As of now, they have merely replied that the Cornerstone won't count, and that I need to enrol for the Feb 2019 Capstone later in December, once the enrolment options are open. They have not mentioned anything about choosing another course instead of the Cornerstone.

I originally decided not to say anything because I didn't want to come off as whining, but since there seem to be a couple more of these vouchers floating around the forum than I thought I guess I'll tell my sob-story:

I happened to be browsing the forum right when this thread was posted. Within five minutes of the thread being posted, I had PM'd the OP asking to be considered for the voucher. The next day I checked on my computer (instead of the app) and, to my horror, found out that my PM couldn't be delivered because OP didn't have PMs enabled at the time.

Anyway, that's my sad story (cue the world's tiniest violin, playing the world's quietest, saddest music). If anyone has a voucher they won't be using, I will be taking two non-cornerstone classes through TESU (Capstone and Historical Methods) and would LOVE to get a voucher.

I suppose you could sign up for TESU SOS-110 instead of the normal 1 credit cornerstone but doing a course that costs $800 more so yo can save $500 doesn't make much sense.

Yes. That was exactly my thought. It does not make sense to spend more in order to avail of a discount.

I might as well throw my hat in. If you have an extra Voucher that you are not planning to use, please allow me to receive it. I would really, genuinely, appreciate it. I've been an active member of the forum for years, slowly trudging along. I am almost done, and this would truly make life easier. Thank you for your consideration.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but if anyone has a voucher that they want to give to a good home before it expires, give me a PM. Thanks in advance!
