Are you looking for the average number of Milestones per class? Length of the Milestone? Time to affirm the Milestones?

I don't think anyone has done any analytics on these to calculate much about the Milestones. Some classes have them. Some don't have any. Some have 6 Milestones. Some have 0. The length varies dramatically. Some people write 3 pages for some history Milestones. Some people write 2-3 sentences for a Milestone in a business course. The time it takes to affirm them varies dramatically by professor.

ETA: Once UMPI moves to Brightspace, this will all change. They could move with the start of the Fall session.

What types of changes do you expect? Do you have experience with Brightspace in other schools?

No one knows what's changing. Rumor has it that exams will cease to exist. I haven't used Brightspace. I've used Canvas, Moodle, and Blackboard. All 3 are very similar learning platforms. Brightspace has a lot more to it than Strut. On Brightspace, you can see who is in your class and you can contact them which may be a great thing. Students may be able to help each other or just say hi. There's no way to do this on Strut.

There are so many various variables in play as well, doesn't the professor have any say on number of assignments versus another professor? Or are all the classes provided by only one professor in a specific course subject matter? Many questions, but only time will tell, I would just play it safe and prepare and work the best you can on courses you're left with or remaining for your degree.

The majority of courses were created by Strut especially the business courses and much of the GEC. There's 1 professor per session. The professors didn't create the Strut courses. I know Spanish 1 was created by the Spanish professor. The professors don't have the ability to make changes to most courses because they are white labeled by Strut. Your post reflects on campus students not YourPace students.

I study at SNHU with Brightspace, it's the same as UMPI's. Both have Modules with chapters in it. One module could have one milestone or several ones until the Final. The difference is SNHU have deadline every Thursday for Discussion and every Sunday for the Short Paper, while UMPI does not have weekly deadlines. Both have term's deadline which usually 7-8 weeks when you have to submit the Final assignment.
