I feel like an idiot for not asking this before my first test-out experience this morning, but what college code should I enter on the exam if I've only done the $75 application that gives you limited access with EC but not fully enrolled yet?
I asked the proctor who said to enter the EC code if that's where I plan on enrolling but I'm afraid I've sent my first test results to nowhere! I don't want to enroll at EC till I've collected more credits.
Did I just lose my score or was this the right option?
TIA.

My understanding from my advisor at EC is that they will hold your scores for 6 months. So you basically have 6 months to enroll before they shred your score and you would have to pay to have it resent to them. If you plan on enrolling within 6 months keep having them sent to EC as you will save yourself the transcript fee later on which can really add up. Good Luck!

Thanks Marianne! You've no idea how relieved that makes me.

I am planning to enroll within 6 months and the goal is to be as close to done in that time frame anyway. Should be an interesting experiment!

If you are holding off on enrolling due to the high fee, condider using an affilliate membership. It allows you to enroll for $150.
Keep in mind that it is kind of a loan. If you don't take 12 credits worth of ECE courses (not exams) you will owe the remainder of the fees at graduation.
Search the forums for POAG, (Police Officers Association of Georgia). You can join them for $20 and then enroll for $150.
See the Excelsior link at
Peace Officer Association of Georgia - Representing The Peace Officer's of Georgia
You would sign up as an associate member, and then submit a faxed enrollment form to EC with the words POAG written on itl.
