Would you recommend the Khan Acadamy videos as a good way to help study for a CLEP? I've found them useful so far, but I'm not sure if they are worth it (they are kind of long sometimes). Am I wasting my time, or should I keep going? Thanks for any feedback!

Khan is generally highly regarded...whats not to like it's thorough, understandable, and free. Since it isn't really designed to be clep/dsst specific you will likely benefit from adding info from other sources as well.

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this). Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

What sort of other resources would you suggest? Do you know of any good ones?

For history I like these: Annenberg Learner, Watch History Topics Videos Online - History.com
For science: Periodic Videos, Sixty Symbols, Chem4Kids, Biology4Kids, Physics4Kids

I found access to InstantCert, specifically to the "specific exam feedback" section to be of utmost importance. SEF is the bomb!

I prefer the Annenberg videos because I get bored easily and their liberal arts videos provide great coverage for CLEPs and DSSTs. Khan Academy is great for math, an area which Annenberg is lacking. I know the KA videos are short; but, when you have to watch over 100 of them to get through a subject, it's pretty demotivating. However, this is coming from someone with a short attention span. The Annenberg videos are somewhat entertaining, imo.

I think patrickJMT's videos are a little more problem-oriented. Like, you look up a particular type of problem, and he'll show you how to do it. Khan's more structural, and the order of the videos makes more sense. Also, I think he's a bit more entertaining, a really funny guy. You can also use their website to get the full experience, by doing relevant problems as you learn.
I haven't tried his videos for other subjects, but I gotta say I'm a Khan Academy fanatic. I've watched all the videos for the calculus series, and am mid-way through linear algebra. My textbook is absolute gibberish and he makes sense of it.

I watched the KhanAcademy videos before taking each of my ALEKS classes and passed the initial assessment for each, so for me they were a great time saver.
