Anyone have alternatives to the Research and Writing requirement?

you can actually bypass this with a paper, if you submit a paper you wrote in an upper level class in you major in a professional format (apa, mls) they will waive the requirement. I did that and never happier!

Also it is listed in the Guide to Credit by Examination that either the ECE College Writing or ECE English Composition exams will satisfy the reqirement (C or better) as well as either of the AP English exams (3 or better) If you already have a paper though, that is the easier route.

I need two english courses or six credits in begining comp. and essay and research. I cant find the text book for LSU online and my school wont except the dantes, and, I am trying to avoid going to the community college. any advice:confused:
