Anyone Up For A Challenge???

What about a 30-day challenge? Then it won't necessarily matter where someone is in their degree -- just whether they can meet the challenge. (X credits in 30 days, maybe?)

There would be a new 30-day challenge every 30 days, I would guess, which gives each contestant an opportunity to start fresh each month. I could even see this becoming signature fodder: "30-day: Apr, Jun, Jul, Aug 2008 winner!"

Might be a little easier to coordinate than trying to race to the finish line, since none of our respective lines, um, line-up.

I think a 30-day challenge sounds like a great idea. Everyone can be included, regardless of where they are at. I am totally up for this! :p

If I can afford it, I have 10 exams sceduled for the 30 days in April. 2 of them are 6cr (Clep Humanities & Social Sci/History) so if all goes as planned I will complete 36 credits. Now just to make sure I have $900 haha.

Lets not set a certain amount, merely at the end of April, everyone report their monthly units. Highest amount is SCHOLAR OF THE MONTH!

P.S - what exactly is a sticky?

Also, April is going to be very hard month for me to win, as im going home to Ireland for 11 days. Still gonna try though!

I dunno what's fair, but I just noticed (from his/her signature file) that OMAHABIKER has 51 credits in the last 30 days. I can't imagine....

I don't think that 30 in 30 would be fair. Since I don't pay for the exams, I am esentially losing nothing and have a lot to gain. I say we go be exams and the highest scorer wins. We could have one a week (people would need time to study). How about we start with the easiest to hardest. I can't take DSST's anymore here on base and the nearest testing center is pretty far for computer based testing.

My reason for posting is to see if anyone wants to challenge me in reaching the 120 unit mark? Someone in much the same credit standing, or even a scholar with a little bit more than ( i like a challenge).

I'll pick up that gauntlet. If you have 6 transferred credits you are about 6 credits ahead of me, but I'm not scared...

....As for being concerned regarding possible cheating, have you taken an Ethics test yet? Until you do, if you are ahead at any time during the contest I will simply assume you are cheating constantly.

I'm catching up Jon! I passed Ethics today. I originally felt this milestone would preclude me from deceiving my way to victory. However the University of IC reminded me, in card 17 of 52 Ethical Analysis of Issues Part 2, that there are many ways to look at any one act. Having learned this I carefully calculated the aggregate amount of pleasure created by winning the contest using my new felicific calculator (better then TI BAII!), and it appears that the ethically right thing to do is for me to win. Watch out... here I come.
