I'm not sure where you heard this, but this is not true. At most, WGU will allow you to transfer in 90 credits. You can see degree plans for WGU here: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Category:WGU

You skipped this part:
Important: The courses listed below are eligible for transfer credit; refer to your program guide for a complete listing of program requirements.
Every college has a minimum number of credits which you must complete at their college. The maximum WGU will possibly accept is 90 credits. The list also doesn't say transfer credit is guaranteed. WGU makes that determination when you apply.

WGU is a great choice in a school... I recommend them for the 4 areas they specialize in, Business, Education, IT, Nursing. Their programs only allow 75% transfer for undergrad, and some selective Masters have a few certs for transfer. What you're looking at actually is certifications that can be transferred into the degree in addition to courses taken part of an Associates or on route to the Bachelors. WGU tuition already has "some" of these certificates included, you're not really "transferring" them into the degree, thus, if you take some of these certs out of the equation, you end up with a max of 75% transfer. As always, it's best to verify with WGU...

WGU can be very fast, once you actually start. Start date is the first of the month, on any month you choose. However, you need to line up all of your transfers by the beginning of the month prior to your start date, and then have all the transfers processed, and then enroll, by the 15th. After you start, how quickly you finish is up to you. Some people have been able to complete all of their remaining courses in less than two weeks, depending on the degree. And once they're complete, the degree should be conferred in less than a week.

Today WGU is approximately $4,000 per term so finishing your degree in a single term can be very close to the minimum cost at EU. However, this assumes that you're going for speed and that you'll do whatever it takes to finish in a single term. If two or more terms are needed at WGU, then the cost goes up considerably.
Also, considering the title of this thread, I should probably point out that WGU does have capstones for their degrees. They're probably all much easier than any of the Big 3, but they still have them.

So... In regards to speed, 7 credits at Excelsior will take you two 8 week terms (Info Lit/Cornerstone and then the Capstone) or 6 credits at COSC will take you a little longer, so I would not recommend them as it is 12 week terms I think or even 15, so it'll take you two of those.
Speed wise, if you can cram, UMPI can be done in one 8 week term, or tie Excelsior at two 8 week terms... it's highly possible to finish the UMPI cheaper, faster than Excelsior... as I've read this person do the entire degree for $2300! Link: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...pful-users

I think WGU might be a better option.

Do you have 90+ relevant credits already? If not, neither WGU or UMPI is good right now.
