Are you look at July? I don't see any closed courses yet. Looks like you have these options:
Tomko - 9 spots left Peck - 15 spots left Chawla - 15 spots left Haydel 3 spots left Black - 9 spots left Arnold - 15 spots left Cody - 4 spots left Maybe individuals could chime in on those specific professors but you could also do a search for them on this forum and also check out ratemyprofessor.com. I know I've seen some of these names on the forums and I think there are one or two that should be avoided and one or two that are highly recommended. I'm taking it with Cody right now and highly recommend him. He has been a great mentor, gives as much feedback as you need and is pretty fair in his grading. He also pretty much lets you choose your own topic and decide on how you will research it. He gives sample papers which are very helpful. I would caution though about using sample papers from this forum with him because a lot of them don't fit what he is looking for. The papers I looked at on here either went into too much or too little detail on certain sections of the paper. He is very active on the forums and you can also email him privately. I've been very pleased.

I second Dr. Cody. He's an English Prof by day. He gives you as much help as you ask for, and his grading is very fair. He also isn't strict on topics chosen.

I'm taking it with Dr. B (Black)now and he is great. When I hit a wall, he even found sources for me! You can always reach him phone or email.
