American Public University?

Does anyone have any experience with American Public University? It seems pretty cheap with $250 per credit and is regionally acredited.

I am halfway through getting my master's degree from them. So far it's been an overall positive experience. The staff has been quick and prompt, the site is easy to use, most of the professors have been pleasant, fair, and helpful, and the material has been reasonably good. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, I'd rate it about an 8 or 9.

The only negative things I've experienced have been one Really Obnoxious Professor (although he still graded me fairly) and some glitches here and there--like the book list people sending me the wrong list of books to order for a class.

All in all, I'd definiely recommend it.

My sister is getting her BA in English from APU. So far she really likes it. She was not familiar with the flexible terms, so was a little surprised when one of her classes was for 16wks while the others were 8 wks Other than that, though, I don't think she has had an issue.

If I had it to do over again, I'd go through APU instead of TESC, but oh well
