Wow, this movie premieres July 1, 2021 and it is a little over 2.2 GB large of a download. I had to install the Amazon Prime Video for Windows instead of viewing it on the browser. Netflix seems better than Amazon Prime in many ways, but oh wells. The movie was pretty awesome, I just love Sci-Fi and Futuristic movies. It was a thriller to say the least... If you have Amazon Prime, it's FREE!

Wow, it was a good movie. Serious Independence Day vibes which is funny considering the timing.

Great movie. Kinda reminded me of the first Independence Day and the Edge of Tomorrow movie if they were rolled into one.

I watched it over the weekend. It was a good one though I am a sucker for time travel or sci-fi movies.

The book was quite good and if the movie lives up to the book then it should be a hit. I heard someone say that Chris Pratt was not a good choice for the lead but I'm happy to give him a chance. I'm sure I'll be watching it soon.

Y'all are crazy! I am a massive sci-fi nerd and a sucker for time travel everything but this movie was awful. Like absolutely the worst choices in everything.
The director also did the Lego movies and you can see him applying the same editing to this one as he did for those. It worked great in the Lego films, all the ridiculous exposition even, but it did not translate well to a feature film.
I wanted to love it, I ended up laughing my way through it, which isn't a bad thing but I didn't expect to watch a Sharknado type of a movie.

I couldn't suspend my disbelief enough to enjoy it past a "wtf are they doing?!" type of enjoyment. If you liked Army of the Dead, you'll like this movie.
EDIT: A little off topic, but if you want a book about a war that's happening "in the future", The Forever War by Joe Haldeman was an excellent read imo.
EDIT2: Actually, I intended to put Old Man's War by John Scalzi, but I mixed up the titles. Both are good books, but The Forever War (1976) is (in my opinion) of its time, and should be read as such. Old Man's War is a more modern scifi book.
