CollegeStudent7 are you saying you are going to buy the kindle or nook for yourself for your birthday?
I would love to have either a kindle or a nook, but $99 is another test for me and I can't waste the money.
I have been reading your past threads and it looks like you have a lot of test to take fast too. Have you already saved for all of them?
I do not have ADHD but I have a learning disability. I have no problem reading I just have a really hard time with math I had to work extra hard to pass my math courses. Thank goodness for GPS my relatives got together and gave me one for Christmas because I get lost without it. We are lucky that so much is known about ADHD and Learning disabilities these days there are so many things to help.

No, not buying it for myself..putting it on a wish list. Yeah, I gotta start another thread about time vs. my degree. I have come to accept that 4-6 months is probably just not going to be realistic for me. The only reason I want a degree is to be able to apply to more permanent jobs and get health insurance. Otherwise, I LOVE temping and always have consistent temp work, but eventually I want something that has health insurance and even 401k options. I'll post more on a new thread come this week.

I have all three. use the I-pad the most as it does the most. but like the new small light weight Nook. very easy to hold and use as just a reader.. but does not due much else.. and has no back light. My two cents.. best bang for the buck as just reader.. the new gray scale nook.. and if you wait a few weeks ebay should have them buy used and save even more.. on the other had best bang for the buck all around is the I-pad

Ipad hands down. I also have the kindle. I use the kindle at the beach or pool but the ipad suffices as a laptop while traveling and is greatindoors. Im on my droid x right now and it rocks for email and message board stuff. For serious work I use my pc and I use the mac book for word processing.
