Unless your son was shooting for an English degree specifically, Excelsior still accepts Shmoop credits and may still provide the degree you desire.
Get evaluated and then post up the evaluation pdf they provide. One of us will be happy to help you make sense of it.

An answer from TESU -
Unfortunately, Shmoop courses will not be accepted unless an student had them officially approved by an academic advisor before May 2. We understand this change was abrupt but feel it is the appropriate academic decision. We are reviewing our ACE/NCCRS credit transfer policies. All ACE/NCCRS recommendations are subject to TESU review.
I am sorry that this answer is going to be disappointing to you and your son. If he does decide to apply to the University once he meets the admissions requirements, he can work with an academic advisor to fully plan his degree in ways that best meet his interests and needs.
I am available should you have other questions about TESU. Best wishes.

That stood out to me as well.

Not what I want to hear, as I just started going with all of this with TESU, maybe I should start looking into one of the other two?

True, I am starting from scratch pretty much, but I am going to be sending in my application to Excelsior tomorrow.

I wonder if the difference is that you have applied already, but my son hasn't due to the age requirement. He just turned 18 and hasn't officially graduated high school yet.
