Even if the schools don't accept them I think the foundation courses are great to build your skills.

If your skills aren't ready for college algebra, for example, do foundations of algebra first to build your skills up. I did that and found Sophia's foundations of Algebra to really helpful prep for algebra and other advanced math courses. The foundations of Algebra lifted my confidence of what I could do math wise. And I personally didn't do foundations of stats or English but I browsed the course content and it looks like it could be helpful. If you aren't used to writing papers or your math skills aren't the greatest these might be good places to start espically since they are free.

I completely agree! I did all three of the foundations courses a while back and found them to be great review.

As far a I know, no one can actually see the list right now. I think I read that they were updating their agreement, or something. However, TESU is still listed on their listed of institutions with guaranteed transfer. It's still wise to check with TESU, no matter what you see on the website.

Just an update on ACE credit recommendations that I don't think I saw before.

I saw that US History I was being pushed to finish before the end of this month, but ACE actually indicates it was renewed since March for the same 3 LL credits:

"Dates Offered: 3/1/2020 - 2/28/2023"

The other courses with a June 30, 2020 expiry (Public Speaking, US History II) still show that same expiration and haven't changed. Maybe this information can help influence plans of attack.

With Public Speaking there are four assignments that must be graded. I'd imagine they are having to grade a lot more assignments than normal since they are free ATM, I think I read someone say back when it wasn't free it would take about a week and sometimes longer to get your assignment graded and you can't send in your next one until that ones graded. Since that course expires with ACE on June 1st (edit: July 1st), the hour might be late on that course, but maybe not.

ARhead, yeah, that's why I recommend doing that course first before doing anything else. If you can also get US History II done as well because that expires the same time, do that course too... Wait, it should expire on July 1, not June 1.

Yup, those are the two I'm doing ATM. I already paid for American History 1 over at SL. I think I'll do that one at SL as I really like the textbooks they have for their history oriented courses like Western Civilization, Am. Gov. etc.

So if this helps anyone ! I’m registered for SNHU and since I’m stuck at home and working from home I was looking for ways to get some gen ed out of the way when I stumbled across Sophia being free last week! I called SNHU with the goal to take everything I could. So my advisor was able to confirm I can apply all 42 credits of gen ed with the courses on Sophia and for my 33 free electives I can do any other Sophia courses! I started with the hard stuff Statistics, Bio, and finished those over 2 days. I’ve already done 10 classes and plugging away on English almost done with that so I can start the next one. I’m working on 2 more tonight to finish. I’ve been glued to my computer obviously and figured if I can’t do anything may as well take advantage of this opportunity! If anyone has any questions let me know ! I’ve done art history 1 and 2, us history 1 and 2, macro and micro , into to Pysc and intro to Soc. Working on ethics and Env science right now!

Thank you so much for sharing your experience Smile  Would you mind sharing how you're able to get through the material so quickly?  Do you have any tips you've found helpful, or are you already well versed in these topics?  Thank you for your time!

Your speed is enviable. However the remarks regarding speed aren't helpful to others, your willingness to share your experience is.
