There was only like nine classes listed, and all of them had drop dead dates from last month.

I am so very sorry to see ALEKS go. Honestly, I don't see me passing those any other way. I toyed with the idea of stats, because it seems a lot of things require it, but I just... hated math so much I drug my feet.

I can't imagine taking it at a brick and mortar school. Ah well

MAT-150 at SL (Business Stats) is a really good class for statistics. Costs more than ALEKS did, but it isn't as hard as you might think.

I passed the class by 0.5% before taking the final, and many of the questions are not purely math-related (lots of "What is statistics?" or "Which of the following characteristics is accurate about the third deviation in a normal distribution?")
Master of Business Administration, Universidad Isabel I, 2021
Master in Management & Team Management, Universidad Isabel I, 2021
Master in International Trade, Universidad Isabel I, 2021

Master in Project Management, Universidad Isabel I, 2023

BS Information Technology, Western Governors University, 2017
AAS Cybersecurity, Community College, 2017
FEMA Emergency Management Certificate, 2017
Fundraising Specialization Certificate, Berkeley/Haas, 2020

Undergraduate Credits: 165 Semester Credits
Graduate Credits: 105 ECTS (52.5 Semester Credits)

I did Business Stats with ALEKS & StraighterLine. There is no contest with the speed of completion option through ALEKS but I thought StraighterLine was a better teaching course and it has been overhyped on how hard it is. It should be labeled as one of the more helpful options to learn Stats and secure credits. A Stats course only becomes easy when you know and enjoy stats. Otherwise, I would imagine a person thinks all courses are tough.

My son's Intro to Statistics with ALEKS went through today in ACE. The expiration date still shows 8/31/2017 in the date's drop-down field. When submitting in ACE, I had my son set the completion date within the accreditation period to * 'assist' the approval process Wink

So either ALEKS has extended its accreditation date or there may be an option to *aid those that have completed the course this month.Smile

Just to Clarify was the course finished before or after the deadline? The ace website is still showing expired.... my understanding is that If it was completed before the deadline then it would be approved even if they don't re-certify.

Tisk tisk, you vile man! Obviously just messing around, it's good that all is well, especially after he just completed all the work for that terrible monstrosity of a course.

Funny Thorne Wink The things we do for our kids! I was pretty happy to see it all worked out because the thought of him (only 15) having to do another Stats course felt like bad parenting Wink

Hopefully, this ends well for everyone else looking to secure the credits this month

Now don't go calling ALEKS and say, 'RANSOMSOUL's Son Got Approval, Why Not Me'!?! Can see ALEKS asking 'Can you please spell RANSOMSOUL's son's name for us'? Smile

I'd check your ACE account every so often to make sure that remains listed. ACE sometimes catches mistakes and pulls credit. If not, that's awesome!
