I took it at a B&M and it shows up as "DMT-002" as well...my initial evaluation was last month and a re-evaluation was done this month for a different degree...both show the same thing for Beginning Algebra and no credits were awarded.

Hi guys! It's been a while since I've been online and trying to get back in the mode to finish the degree.
Just to clarify...TESC will not allow ALEKS beginning algebra for any credit anywhere? So not as a free elective or gen ed elective...nothing? Just want to be sure I know what I am working with as I move forward.
Thanks in advance!

You are correct. One thing to consider, however, is that the Beg and Inter have a good overlap. So, if you rock out the Beg before taking your initial Inter assessment, you might be sitting REALLY PRETTY for finishing that class lightening fast.

Yeah, I had already finished them both and you are very correct. After finally getting enough points to pass the beginning, I was able to immediately test out of intermediate on my first attempt. Guess I was counting on having three more credits than I really have...no biggie, though. Thank you for the quick reply.
