Aleks Initial assessment ACE knowledge check

Hello,
Has anyone completed an ACE credit Aleks course recently or at least since they now require the timed ACE knowledge check? I'm trying to determine if they will require the ACE knowledge check if you're able to pass the initial assessment on the first attempt or not. Anyone faced this?

Requires an ACE knowledge check after the initial knowledge check (even if you received a passing percentage) or after accumulating 70% of the material in the course content.
