I have recently began my journey trying to get a degree. I am a good study/test taker, so I am looking forward to blazing through a few CLEPS - but I decided to tackle the tough part first and I am going through ALEKS, using Mathway to tutor me along.
Wow.
Math is intense after being out of school since the mid 80's. I really wish I would have focused better way back when, but I have to admit that ALEKS is a great program. Time consuming, but I have been using it for a few days and I am starting to think it will actually teach me something.
I am just starting Beginning Algebra, which means I suffered through the first basic math program - knowing it would not show up on ACE.
I actually sat in front of the computer for four hours and knocked it out.
I am generally too busy during the week to do much, but I am giving it a stab tonight before I collapse.
