Then applying to Clarion for Masters.
Has anyone done that type of track with 3 different schools, starting out with TESU, and been successful?
I've already been at 4 colleges, and that doesn't count my upcoming degree at TESU, or my possible if it ever goes through AAS at WVNCC. Plenty of people have taken courses at multiple schools and done just fine. I'm willing to be most people don't start and end at one single school.

alright, so could I obtain an accelerated and affordable associates in Arts degree at TESU doing some of the classes on Straightline and then transferring my associates to Fort Hays U for a General Studies Bachelors since they are very affordable? That way I also get a GPA for the last 60 credits through Fort Hays so I can apply for Graduate program (most want this).
I can't make a huge investment in my bachelors degree since the Masters is so expensive and also I'm a late bloomer in my 40's, so there's no way to get my money back if I blow 50K to become a librarian! Wowers! I'm looking to do this FAST and CHEAP.

TESU is kind of an expensive place to get an associates because they charge the same $2K residency fee that they charge for a bachelor's. If you don't really need the AA, then I'd just do the same SL courses and go straight to FHSU. You could also check out some of the WVNCC threads for a cheap route to an Associate's.

Doesn't appear they are listed on Straightline (any longer). I went to the site, then colleges, not there. I do see a 2010 blog post, but they must have removed themselves from the program?

Go directly to FHSU and ask them if they'll accept the courses for credit. It really doesn't matter what SL or ACE have to say. There are lots of schools that take ACE credits that aren't listed on ACE, and others listed that don't take much at all.
Edit: BTW, I want to make sure you understand that getting the AA doesn't help at all with transferring your credits to FHSU. They either take your alternative credit or they don't.

You can also start taking inexpensive courses through any college you want, and transfer them plus ACE credits to TESU, EC or COSC to get your degree at one of those. If the Master's program you want to go to just wants 60 graded credits, you don't have to have those credits at the school you get your degree from - you just need 60 graded credits. You already have 27 graded credits (although 9 of those are F's), so you just need 33 more (11 courses). A community college is fine, or anywhere else you can get inexpensive courses (don't forget to take the cost of books into account, some schools are worse than others about requiring very expensive new books).

I think I have too many questions now! lol You've been so helpful and patient, this n00b thanks you so much.
1) Old courses - Will the F courses, once transferred into TESU or Fort Hays, drop away and other schools, like graduate school, won't see it? Not that I can't explain easily that this was over 25 years ago...but I was advised to NOT transfer in those terrible community courses into a conventional school as the GPA would sink me. TESU or FHU wouldn't use them for a GPA, correct?
2) It appears that I'm looking at another year's worth of classes to get my AA, but that's better than I thought. Can i just start at Fort Hays right from the get go, and then do ACE, which can be bought and knocked out much faster, from Straighterline.com? Maybe get my Bachelor's in 2.5 years? Is that possible? I sure hope so!
For brevity's sake, let's say I want to get a Bachelor's in General Studies at FHU. If Straighterline.com is meant for just GE courses, then my other 60 credit classes to obtain the Bachelor's should have a GPA attached, therefore, I should be able to apply to grad school with no issue, right?
Thanks!!!!!!
