Advertising TECEP to count towards Communications Electives?
#1
Hi all,

Does anyone know if TESC will count the Advertising TECEP (MAR-323-TE) as a Communications Elective for a B.A. in Communications?

While the transfer code is a marketing code (MAR) the course seems to fit well as a communications course, & the test description for the TECEP uses the word "communications" three times.

Thanks!

There was a homeschooler on here who had a similar degree plan. Maybe you can follow it.

But, in reading the description, you may be on point. Speak to an advisor to see if theyll add it to your degree plan.

Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.

Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.

Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.

Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.

Picking on people weaker than you only proves that you are a weak person.

In case anyone else has the same question in the future, we asked TESU if their Advertising TECEP would count towards Communications Electives, and the answer was no, even after we appealed.
