Masters in Leadership

I'm still researching of course, and my #1 choice will be to get a Masters in HR, but if I can't find a program I like, I'm leaning towards Leadership as my #2 choice of major. Walden and WGU both offer a program like that. The reason is because I really like business and understanding management decisions, and I work to support managers within HR, and maybe even someday I might be interested in management (leading an HR department or team), but I'm not even remotely interested in the math/finance involved in an MBA. I'm afraid that if I tried for an MBA I would really struggle in those areas, it's been the hardest part of my BSBA so far. The Leadership programs I looked at seem to have less emphasis on that so it ended up on my list of programs to consider.

I agree.  The thought of an MBA leaves me cold.  If I was ever to consider a MA, it would be something like this or something entirely unrelated to business.  I just have no interest.

I'm almost finished with the MS ML.  Even though I have 30 years of experience, I'm learning a lot.  I did it because I have 30 years in healthcare, and this allowed me to broaden my education rather than being pigeon-holed.

MS - Management and Leadership, WGU 2022
BS - Liberal Arts - Depths in Healthcare and Psychology, Excelsior College 2014
Certificate - Workers Comp Admin, UC Davis Extension, 1995
AA - Licensed Vocational Nursing and Selected Studies, Mesa College 1989
Certificate - Licensed Vocational Nursing (LVN), Mesa College 1977

Also, someday maybe a MS in Forensic Psychology, just for fun.   Oh, and a BS in Animal Behavior.  And, maybe when I'm 85 a PhD in something fun.

"An interesting item, there is a strong conclusion that most of today's workforce lacks leadership skills. Many workers are incapable of taking charge, making decisions, and stress too much over the little things."

Hoo boy did you ever hit the nail on the head.
