An SEO campaign that links to a thread wherein the relevant results have been "deleted by author" would lose their SEO rankings pretty quickly, as SEO algorithms specifically look for relevant content on landing pages. Not to mention, that's not really the issue here. Based on the discussion here, the forum admin/mods and community seem more concerned about impact to the community/community knowledge-base in this situation, not the digital marketing impact of SEO consequences.

Seeing her file a nuisance lawsuit to demand what i imagine she would call a nanny state come in to interject itself between an LLC and her responsibilities to that LLC seems unfathomable. She has more integrity than that, surely. I don't think we need to argue this and disparage her in this way.

At least I hope we have learned at least that about her over 13 years or so.

Agree 100%, I'd never imagine her doing this

I took it from the site administrator that the issue was broken links within search results.

Broken links or links that redirected viewers to empty posts since the content of the original post had been removed. This caused confusion for visitors in addition to looking bad.

Hi Sanantone! Nice to see you back. You were super helpful when I was considering biology degrees.

@Tinasam, it's a reference to something S said in a different thread more than a year ago. I won't try to summarize it because I'm sure I don't remember all the details and don't want to misstate anything, but I wouldn't worry about it.

+1, I agree. I think exactly the same way... maybe I should think differently and be more open minded next time. I hate being "left". Err, never mind... I'll just keep quiet for now anyways... Some people look at a glass and say it's half empty, others say it's half full...

...Some look at the glass and see that it is full: half full of liquid and half full of atmospheric gasses. We call those people physicists. Some people look at the glass, see it is half full, and say it’s close enough to empty—those contents are a rounding error. We call those people engineers.

Some people look at the glass, see it is half full, and say that the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.  I'm not sure what to call those people.  Minimalists?
