I submitted the transcript on January 3rd. Would emailing them asking them to plan the courses into my eval be faster that waiting for the eval? I don't know much about this end of things.

It typically took just a business day or two to get something planned in. I always got things planned in before I did them. Helps a lot to see them in the eval, filling in the requirement you expect.

Thanks for the tip! I've just sent an email. Now hopefully I can get the last portion of my degree planned out a month earlier

Michael,
Where are these courses coming from? I am not positive what SHMO is?
So did you respond and tell them they were from Shmoop? It was a reasonable, straightforward question. Sure, they might have been able to find them on ACE, but it's not surprising they didn't want to do the legwork.
Dealing with TESU advising takes some patience. After a while you get the hang of how to ask them questions.

I did reply and explain that, and got a response. It was... unsatisfactory :/ Basically they just dumped most of the courses I asked about into "LIT 299 Special Topics." I've just replied, appealing four of their determinations.
