I scheduled time on January 9th for a DANTES test at 10:00. I'm not sure what I'm taking yet, I'll decide by Wednesday and then I'll start studying. I may take the Management Information Systems test (I have already taken the CLEP Info Systems) I'm finishing up a class this week in Consumer Behavior and have a break until January 9th when my next class starts.
Unlike so many of you, I am not a great multi-tasker with studying, so I tend to take one class at a time or study for one test at a time. I need to keep focused, so you are all my witnesses. Next test 1/9. I'll keep you posted
Testing CreditsALEKS- Beginning Algebra, CLEP Intro Psychology, CLEP Principles of Management, CLEP Principles of Marketing, CLEP Info Systems & Computer App, CLEP Intro Sociology, CLEP Analyzing & Interpreting Literature, DSST Environment & Humanity, DSST Here's to Your Health, DSST Organizational Behavior, DSST Personal Finance, DSST Substance Abuse, DSST Supervision
Class Credits
English Composition 1, English Composition 2, Nutrition, Intercultural Communications, Introduction to Business, US History 2, College Algebra, HR Management, Professional Selling, Consumer Behavior, Managing Organizational Change, Art Appreciation, Music Appreciation, Statistics

Burn that mother down. My motivation is posting a timeline. Anytime I do anything relating to studying for a test, I make a post. It helps, I promise

This is totally ok!!!! I studied for one test at a time the entire way through and still went pretty quickly. I actually think it helps keep you focused and on-task. If you only think about one test at a time, but have a FIRM commitment for the testing date in your mind, you will do it without any problems. I couldn't ever look at the big picture because it was too overwhelming, so one at a time is a GREAT idea!!!
I am watching your progress and will be waiting for your post-test report :coolgleam: :coolgleam: :coolgleam:

I am not a multitasker either. I finished all of my CLEP and other subjects serially. I would devote myself 100% to a subject, often studying 30 hours per week, and then take the test and move on to the next. Once I was about 80% done studying for a subject I would begin light reading on the next one, take a couple of days off the original and then restudy it before the test.

Change of plans!
Instead of taking a Dantes test on January 9th, I will be starting a new job instead. I applied for this job in November and after two interviews they made me an offer before Christmas. I'm very excited since it is in product marketing and I am pursuing my degree in marketing. My current job was in sales where I had more flexibility with my scheduling, so I have to reschedule at a test center on the weekend. I feel that having my degree in process and being able to speak to the classes in marketing that I have already taken only helped the process.
New plan- new job & next class start the week of the 9th. Reschedule test for a Saturday

Glad to hear about the new job!!! Congrats!!
However, do NOT use it as an excuse to delay studying.
